A 3 year old girl died in an accident on the Mathugama – Aluthgama road
A motorbike running towards Matugama from Aluthgama and a Bolero cab coming from the opposite direction collided face to face near the 05 pole junction of Aluthgama Mathugama road on yesterday (25 The motorbike rider, the later rider and a 3-year-old girl injured in the accident has died as the girl was admitted to Darga city hospital.
The other two injured have been transferred to Nagoda Hospital for further treatment. The driver of the Bolero cab has currently been arrested by Welipenna police in connection with the crash and the post-death investigation of the girl who died is scheduled to be held tomorrow.
