President Receives New Year Blessings from the Chief Prelate of the Ramanna Maha Nikaya
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake received blessings for the New Year from the Chief Prelate of the Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya, Most Venerable Aggamaha Panditha Most Venerable Makulewe Wimala Nayaka Thero.
The President visited the Sri Vidyawas Maha Pirivena in Minioluwa, Mirigama, where he called on the Chief Prelate. During the visit, the President inquired about the Thero’s well-being and participated in a brief discussion.
At the occasion, the Chief Prelate chanted Seth Pirith and offered his blessings for the President and the government’s activities in the New Year.
The event was also attended by Member of Parliament Manjula Sugath Ratnayake and others.
