Last respect from the IGP to the officer who died while on duty
Police Constable 82615 M who died in an accident while on the duty of inspection on the road block near Walave river bridge, Ambalantota. The funeral of Sarath Kumara Niladariya was held on yesterday.
This officer who died on duty was paid his last respects to the house in Suriyawewa, Weerasuriya, where the body was deployed to the officials on post promotion base.
Several non-duty police officers including the area’s top police officers attended the funeral that day.
