Sri Lanka wrapped up the T20 Series by an emphatic 9-wicket hammering of the West Indies with 12:balls to spare in the decisive final face off yesterday in a run blaze in Player of the Match unbeaten half century 68′ off 50 balls by Pathum Nissanka and as much an unbeaten half century by Kusal Janith Perera 55 off 36 in a 106-run second wicket assault reaching 166 for 1 wicket in going past a compatible 162 for 8 by the West Indians yesterday at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.

The Lankan innings was given a fiery start by Pathum Nissanka who struck 39:off 22 as the Lankan top three took away the game from the West Indies by the run orgy though Mendis did survive dropped chances by Rovman Powell and Roston Chase.
