Dehiwala hotel owner dies after shooting
The owner of a hotel on Marine Drive in Dehiwala has died after being shot earlier this evening, police said. According to police, two individuals consuming alcohol in front of the beachside hotel opened fire on the victim, striking him in the head.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the attackers fled the scene immediately after the shooting. The motive for the attack has not yet been established.
