One person killed and another person injured in an unauthorized power strike
Investigations have been started on a message received at the Weligama police station at night (14) that two people were killed and another person was injured in electric strike in Kammalgoda area of Weligama police station.
The deceased was 66 years old and the injured is 22 years old residents of Koledanda, Weligama area.
The current investigation has revealed the accident that the deceased had hit an unauthorized power trade on a nearby land while he went to tie cows with his son.
Further investigations will be conducted by Weligama police to arrest the suspect who was dragged with electricity.
