Sri Lanka’s inflation has decreased to -0.5% in September 2024, compared to 0.5% in August 2024, according to the national consumer price index, the department of census and statistics said on today. The inflation in the food category which was reported at 0.8 percent in August decreased to -0.3percent in September, according to the department.
