Four State Ministers Dismissed Immediately

Four state ministers have been dismissed from their positions effective immediately.

The ministers affected are State Minister for Ports and Aviation Premalal Jayasekara, State Minister for Power and Energy Indika Anuruddha, State Minister for Agriculture Mohon Priyadarshana de Silva State Minister for Highways Siripala Gamlath.

This decision was made under the authority granted to the President by Article 47(3) (a) of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
