The Election Commission has issued a directive for the immediate removal of election campaign stickers displayed on vehicles.

This decision follows a spate of complaints about political slogans and stickers being placed on private buses and three-wheelers. According to the Presidential Elections Act, displaying such materials is a violation of election laws, the Commission said in a statement. Further, it said the police have been notified to take action against those who do not comply with the law.
