Police seize 133 mobile phones & 159 sim cards at Boossa high-security prison in 2025
The Police Special Task Force is prohibited to use in the prison which was found and arrested by the immediate investigation sessions conducted repeatedly at the Boosa Prison from January 01 2025 to December 26, 2025. The amount of property is as follows.
113 mobile phones, Phone charges (Chargers – 110), 159 sim cards, memory chips (Memory cards) – 2, Phone batteries – 12, Hearing devices (Handfree – 56), Data transmissioner wire (Data cable) – 122, Knives – 3
Also, heroin drugs 850 grams, 40 grams 012 grams of tobacco, 12 pieces of tobacco have been found.
Boosa Camp of Police Special Task Force, Boosa Camp, Galle Senanka Camps, which was the last Sodis operations conducted so far, along with the officials of the Senanka Camps on 2025.12.24, has also found the following details related to the quantity of the properties in the special sector jail and land.
