JVP that killed policemen earlier are today holding rallies with retired police officers – UNP General Secretary

UNP General Secretary  Range Bandara stated that the same JVP which killed Police and Army personnel in the past is gathering retired police officers and holding meetings today.

Range was speaking at the opening of the Election Operations Office of the United National Party’s Kesbewa Constituency Organizer Saman Ratnapriya yesterday.

UNP General Secretary also said “The JVP that killed Police and Army personnel also threatened their parents and asked them to quit their jobs. That is how the JVP treated the Police and the Army. Today, they bring retired policemen for their meetings. If someone wears a uniform, they will not go to such meetings. A person who wore a uniform with pride and dignity would not go to such meetings,” he added.
