Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, the newly-appointed, Commander, Logistic Command Headquarters at Salawa assumed duties on 05 June 2024 during a simple ceremony at his Office amidst religious observances.
A Guard Turnout followed by a Guard of Honour saluted him on arrival at the premises. After the formal military honours, Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO took over duties amidst religious observances and placed his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of his new office. A customary troop address culminated the day’s ceremony after an All Rank tea party at the Army Logistics Command Headquarters.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the day’s simple and formal ceremony.
